He's at it again... Francesco Mazzei is set to open Fiume, a new modern Italian restaurant at Battersea Power Station this September!
Fiume willl be his third restaurant with D&D, alongside Sartoria on Savile Row and Radici in Islington! And because nobody can be in three places at once, Francesco has appointed long-term team member Francesco Chiarelli as Head Chef - not only do they share a forename but both hail from Calabria in Southern Italy!
Fiume's name comes from the Italian word for river, and the riverside restaurant will serve modern Italian food, and feature an open kitchen complete with wood-fired oven, bar counter dining, and a terrace where up to 50 guests can dine al fresco, overlooking the piazza.
It's part of the first phase of the landmark Power Station's £9billion redevelopment and will sit within its Circus West Village area.
