Wonder Women

Happy International Women's Day 2018!

The theme for this year's International Women's Day is #PressForProgress —and it's all about keeping up the momentum to close the gender pay gap globally. It's been a year of international activism with celebs fuelling movements like #MeToo and #TimesUp.

As Head of HR at D&D, Carol Cairnes, states, “From the kitchen to the boardroom, D&D London champions successful women forging inspiring careers. This month alone sees 3 female appointments to key management roles. And, moving forwards, our aim is to continue promoting women into senior roles to give us the best possible gender balance. With International Women’s Day on the 8th, we are also very pleased to announce that in our upcoming gender pay gap report, the results are in favour of women."

With stars from film and music supporting women in the work place on the red carpet, at the Golden Globes, the Baftas and the Oscars, we thought we would introduce you to some of our leading ladies too...

They might not have an Oscar (yet!), but these women are the stars of our kitchens, management teams, marketing and finance. And the award for D&D's International Women's Day goes to...
