THINGS TO DO IN LONDON THIS WEEKEND: 15TH-17TH JULY

1. D&D Summer School

The first of our About Time Summer School series launches this Saturday, with a full schedule of girl power, talks from badass women and of course the weekend essential: brunch. Kicking off at Kensington Place, the session will be hosted by Deliciously Stella in conversation with Angie Silver, Born Social, About Time's own Angelica Malin and Candids by Jo to brush up your social media skills.

2. Hardcore Prawn

Bringing a bit of raunch and risqué to the Shoreditch brunch game, Prawnography is popping up at Fish Market every weekend until 7th August. Catch some rays on the terrace with a prawn-infused Bloody Mary in hand, and tuck into their highly prawnographic menu of bacon wrapped scallops and crab meat soldiers. Add bottomless fizz for a mere 15 quid extra and your laughing.

3. Embankment Summer Market

When the sun’s out, there’s really nothing like spending the weekend wandering around one of London’s many summer markets. This weekend we *might* be in luck, and if so, we’ll be at Embankment, checking out upcoming designers, musicians and artisans, alongside street food traders, a farmers market and live entertainment. Finish the day off with a stroll over the bridge for a sunset cocktail at Skylon.

4. What Soho Wore

Photographer Nina Manandhar is taking up residence at the Photographer’s Gallery to pay homage to London’s coolest area with her exhibition ‘What Soho Wore’. She’ll be hitting the streets to take extra photos for the project, as well as inviting Londoners to submit their own personal snaps. If you fancy doing a proper tour of Soho’s history, head to 100 Wardour St afterwards to catch a performance at the site of London’s iconic Marquee Club.

5. Ciderdog

A cold cider is a pillar stone of British summertime, and there’s really nothing we like better than a whole day of boozing… Enter Ciderdog, a one day festival of over 100 real ciders, perrys and ales, with free entry, a BBQ, ping pong and even something called a doodle wall that sounds really fun. When you’ve had enough of the good stuff, wander round the corner to Butlers Wharf Chop House to soak up all that cider with a big juicy steak.
